Coronavirus Update April 2020

Hey everybody,

I hope you’re all safe and sound.

Before I get into anything I would like to show our sympathy for all those affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have lost loved ones, those who are suffering with the illness and of course to those, much like us, with their businesses shut and no idea of when everything is going to go back to “normal”.

We’ve been closed for some time now. We we’re one of the first tour companies, if not the very first, to shut down in Madeira for health and safety reasons. Of course being a small company this was relatively easy to do, although not at all good for business.

We remain shut and we have this month extended our cancellations until the end of June 2020. We will not be accepting any bookings for this period and are dealing with all our current clients on a one on one basis to either rebook their tours or refund them once we have some support or see some life in the business.

We aim to honor all our commitments and are hoping to stay in business once this is all over and all our efforts are with this in mind.

We have started a video series on YouTube called the Social Distancing VLOG, where we look back at old videos and memorable moments and stories from our past tours and experiences in Madeira.

The idea is to keep everyone inspired and to remind you all that we’re still here !

Don’t forget to subscribe to our channel and to like this video, we’re planting a tree for every new subscriber we get in 2020!!

And lastly, if you’ve been with us before and want to enter into the vacation giveaway, make sure to leave us a google review about your experience with us here:

Just to end off, I would like to report to you guys that as of today we only have 44 positive cases of COVID-19 in Madeira with almost everybody at home, in self isolation. The government was quick to react and it seems that we are looking very good.

I hope to have you here soon but for now, stay home and stay safe!

much love,

Jeff
